Eden Hazard focused on winning titles amid being named ‘best player in the Premier League’

Chelsea have been enjoying life under Maurizio Sarri following his arrival in the summer. In particular, Eden Hazard has been going from strength-to-strength under the former Napoli boss.

Hazard has been putting in a number of phenomenal appearances for the Blues on a consistent basis.

But it appears he is enjoying life that little bit more under the new management.

The Belgium international has come in for special praise for recently for his wonder-goal against Liverpool in the League Cup.

And, now some starting to make the claim that he is the best player in the Premier League.

Jamie Carragher was extremely vocal about that opinion. He was a witness to the 27-year-old destruction of the pundit’s former club in the final five minutes of the encounter in midweek.

Ross Barkley believed his team-mate was not just the best in England, but above the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. This is a view that Chelsea legend John Terry also shared.

However, Sarri and Gianfranco Zola are not getting carried away with the performances of Hazard just yet.

The management team have stated that he can still go further in the game and continue to get better. This is something that will surely frighten premier league defences even more.

Hazard, however, is a down-to-earth individual and has taken the praise with a pinch of salt. He stated that, whilst he is grateful to be considered amongst the best, all he wants to do is win titles.

And, with the way the Blues are currently playing, they may just have a chance of lifting some silverware throughout the course of the campaign.
