Developing Story – Glenn Hoddle Rushed to Hospital Following Collapse

Former Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea player Glenn Hoddle has been rushed to Hospital. He collapsed in the BT Sport studio Saturday morning. Hoddle was described as ‘seriously ill’ on his 61st birthday.

Glenn Hoddle has enjoyed an illustrious career as Footballer and Manager.

Hoddle spent 12 years at Tottenham Hotspur playing 377 games and scoring 88 goals. Before going on to have spells at Monaco and Swindon Town before ending his playing career at Chelsea. Hoddle then went on to manage, perhaps most notably managing England for three years from 1996 to 1999.

Many wished Hoddle the best on Twitter.

The club accounts of Chelsea, Tottenham and England all wished Hoddle good a full recovery following the worrying news with fellow presenters Jake Humphrey and Gary Lineker also describing their concern.
