England met Croatia on Friday night in their UEFA Nations League match and were held to a 0-0 draw in front of an empty stadium.

The hosts had to play the fixture against England behind closed doors. This was because of an incident that had happened against Italy back in June 2015.

The game had proved to be a rather dull affair for many. This was despite the Three Lions having a number of chances to get their first three points of the competition. Tottenham Hotspur duo Harry Kane and Eric Dier both hit the woodwork.

Gareth Southgate’s side would have been looking to exact some form of retribution against the country that knocked them out of the World Cup in the semi-finals in the summer.

England, therefore, will now need to be preparing for the trip to Spain on Monday. Spain have been in good form recently.

Luis Enrique’s side have won both of their games in the competition already; sitting top of the table.

Marcus Rashford slammed

Marcus Rashford had two glorious opportunities to secure the nation’s first win of the competition, however, the Manchester United man could not make the most of them.

Fans had called the attacker a ‘fraud’. Others had just simply said he was ‘awful’.

Here are some of the England fan’s reactions:
