The final of the World Boxing Super Series, between Callum Smith and George Groves, is set to take place this Friday, live from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The fight sees Groves and Smith, arguably the two best super-middleweights in the world take to the ring for the WBA (Super) and WBC Diamond straps. The winner will also be crowned WBSS Champions – and take the home the Mohammed Ali trophy.

What are the fighters records?
The more experienced Groves comes into the fight holding the world title. At 28-3 (20KOs), Groves has been in six world title fights. Three he lost, two to Carl Froch and a SD to Badou Jack. Three he won, one of them when he claimed the vacant title against Fedor Chudinov. The other two, meanwhile, were defences vs. Jamie Cox and Chris Eubank.
24-0 (17KO’s) Smith meanwhile is yet to capture world honours. ‘Munro’ holds the WBC Diamond strap, and has held British and European honours in the past. This, however, is his first shot at world honours.
What are the odds?
This is virtually a pick’em. Betfair has Groves a slight favourite at 8/11. Smith meanwhile lies at 5/4, with the draw coming in at 20/1.
The favoured method of victory is a point decision for both, 7/4 for Groves, 5/2 for Smith.

The ring walks are due to take place at 9PM GMT this coming Friday.
