Wilfried Zaha has signed a new contract with Crystal Palace which will see him remain at the club until 2023.
The club’s Player of the Year for the last three seasons has shown his loyalty by signing a contract extension. Palace fans can now rest assured that Zaha, their star man, will remain in red and blue.
Zaha took to Twitter this morning and stated he is “South London and proud.” He followed up by saying “Very happy to have signed a new contract with CPFC.”
Zaha was linked with a move away from the club throughout the summer transfer window. He is, however, evidently happy to be staying with his boyhood club.
Chairman Steve Parish is extremely delighted that he will be staying at Selhurst Park.
“Wilf grew up a stone’s throw from Selhurst Park from the age of four. This agreement is yet another example of his lifelong commitment to the club, and our commitment to him.
“This is an amazing day for everyone here at Palace, our supporters and of course Wilf, and is richly deserved.”
Crystal Palace fans can look forward to watching Zaha’s first appearance at Selhurst Park this season against Liverpool on this weekend’s Monday Night Football live on Sky Sports.
