Here at SportsGrape, we will round-up some of the latest transfer news coming out of Spain.
Here are some of the latest transfers rumours coming from La Liga;
Barcelona consider De Jong switch
Barcelona are still believed to be considering whether to make a bid for Ajax youngster Frenkie de Jong.
The 21-year-old was impressive for the Amsterdam outfit as he lit up the Eredivisie with his performances. He put together seven assists in his 22 league appearances and becomes the latest Ajax youth graduate to attract attention from one of Europe’s elite clubs.
However, De Jong is not sure about a move to the Nou Camp just yet and it could all depend on whether the Dutch side qualifies for the Champions League group stages.
Rodrigo not prepared to leave Valencia
Valencia’s main man, Rodrigo Moreno, has insisted that he does not want to leave the Mestalla this summer, unless one of the world’s top clubs are interested in him, according to Spanish outlet Marca.
Having scored 19 goals for Los Che last season and guiding them to a Champions League spot, it is only normal to expect a number of clubs to be interested in him.
However, it appears it would have to be a club like Real Madrid or Bayern Munich, with whom he has been linked with before, as the 27-year-old wants to play at the highest level with some of the best players and is not just interested in a huge payday.
Marcelino not planning new recruits
Valencia boss Marcelino is not preparing to sign another right-back amid speculation that Martin Montoya could leave the Mestalla.
Los Che have, however, been linked with a number of signings to improve their attacking options ahead of the new La Liga season, with Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi one name that has appeared on their radar.
Simone Zaza is a man who has failed to impress Marcelino this summer, despite having just played his best season of football. The manager is thought to be unhappy with the former West Ham United player’s attitude and offers from Italy are expected.
Sevilla keen on Aboubahkar and Pedro
Sevilla are looking to bolster their attacking options this summer and Porto’s Vincent Aboubakar and Pedro Guilherme Abreu, of Fluminense, are being heavily linked with moves to the Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.
Should those players arrive in the south of Spain, it could mean the likes of Wissam Ben Yedder and Luis Muriel could be offloaded as their futures look to be up in the air.
Alaves move for Borja
Deportivo Alaves have reportedly met with Borja Mayoral’s agent about a move away from Real Madrid, although the club have shot those rumours down quickly.
The striker has travelled with Los Blancos to the United States of America for their pre-season tour and new manager Julien Lopetegui will take a close look at him and see whether he can make a positive impact on his side.
It is understood the player would be happy with a move to Alaves, however, he is thought to want to wait until the end of the pre-season tour before he makes a decision on his future.
